Funeral arrangements were incomplete today at press time, pending the arrival of her son, Glen Ray, overseas with the Navy. Mrs. Alford was a member of the Laurel Heights church, and a lifelong resident of Winn Parish. She was the widow of the late Jessie Alford, who died in a railway accident here several years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Betty, of Winnfield; two sons, Glen Ray Alford, with the U. S. Navy in the Far East, and Charles Peabody Alford, with the Air Force in San Diego, Calif.; one brother, John Law of Gilbert, La., and one sister, Miss Maggie Law of Winnfield.
