Allbritton of Curry Dies Tuesday A. M. Funeral Services Held On Wednesday At Beech Creek J. J. Allbritton of Curry, 81 years, 3 months, and 20 days old, died Tuesday morning at 3 o'clock at an Alexandria hospital following an operation. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Beech Creek Church, with burial in the Beech Creek Cemetery. Mr. Allbritton was born June 4, 1859 in St. Augustine County, Texas. He lived in different parts of his native state until 1901 when he moved to Ward Two of Winn Parish, where he lived the remainder of his life. He was a stock raiser and farmer, and active until his death. His wife, the former Miss Nancy Doolittle, passed away on October 12, 1937. He is survived by ____ of his nine children: B. F. Allbritton, E. E. Allbritton, E. M. Allbritton, and Miss Lula Allbritton, all of Curry, Will Allbritton of Robeline, and Mrs. Maggie Kees of Urania.
