F. Allbritton, former police juror of Ward Two, were held at the Beech Creek Church Thursday morning, January 28, 1937 at ten o'clock. Rev. B. C. Land, pastor of the Winnfield Baptist Church, Rev. Thomas Doughty of Tullos, and Rev. J. E. Autry were in charge. Interment was in the Beech Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Allbritton was brought to a local clinic last Wednesday following an acute attack of appendicitis. She succumbed Wednesday morning at 4:45 this week. Mrs. Allbritton, who would have been 53 years old on February 29th, is a native of this parish. She was born and reared in Ward Three and is the daughter of Mrs. N. C. Sowers and the late Mr. Sowers. She was a member of the Beech Creek Church. Surviving are her husband, B. F. Allbritton of Winnfield, and two daughters, Helen and Audry Allbritton of Tullos, Star Route; her mother, Mrs. N. C. Sowers of Sikes; three brothers, John N. Sowers of Winnfield and G. R. Sowers of Crowville; and two sisters, Mrs. W. C. Abrams and Mrs. C. J. Erskins of Sikes.
