Daniel Blake Allen

Graveside services for Daniel Blake Allen, 2 day old infant son of Preston
Thomas of Baton Rouge and Lori Allen of Verda, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in
French Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Tarver officiating.  Burial was under
direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

The infant died Monday, January 2, 1989, in Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital,
Baton Rouge.

Other survivors include his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby
Yelverton of Verda; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Thomas, Sr.,
of Baton Rouge; maternal great grandmothers, Lucille Snow of Verda and
Virgie Allen of Montgomery.
