John B. Allen Dies At Veterans Hospital Wednesday

John B. Allen, World War I Veteran, died suddenly at the Veterans' Hospital in
Alexandria Wednesday afternoon.

Funeral arrangements are now pending the arrival of his son, Pvt. J. V. Allen,
who is stationed at Fort Belvoir, Va., and his daughter, Miss Eunice Allen, a
nurse at the Charity hospital in Shreveport.

He will be buried in the National Cemetery at Pineville, it was announced.
