Mrs. Virgie (DuBois) Allen, age 82, of Montgomery, La., passed away Tuesday, 
March  1, 2005, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, La.  
She  was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and 
Catholic Daughters.   Mrs. Allen was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was the daughter of the late J. W. DuBois and the late Virgie (Roberts) 
DuBois.  Mrs. Allen was also preceded in death by her husband L.C. Allen; son, 
Danny Allen; great-grandson, Daniel Allen; brothers, Wilson and J.W. DuBois, 
Jr.

She is survived by her 

Two Daughters,
Charlotte (Allen) Paige of Dry Prong, La.                                     
Vonda Smith of Montgomery, La.

One Son,
Curtis Allen of Montgomery, La.

One Brother,
Joseph DuBois of Montgomery, La.

Twelve grandchildren
Twenty Two great-grandchildren       

Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., 
where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday, 
March  2, 2005.  Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2005 in 
the Southern Funeral Home Chapel.  Friends may also visit with the family at 
St. Patrick's Catholic Church  from noon until 1:00 PM Thursday, March  3, 
2005.  Funeral services will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 1:00 PM 
Thursday, March  3, 2005 , with Father John Cunningham officiating.  Interment 
will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Montgomery, La.
