Mrs. Martha Allen of Atlanta Buried in Winnfield Cemetery

Mrs. Martha Allen, 85 years of age, died at her home in Atlanta, May 1, 1935,
following an illness of cancer of the stomach.

Funeral services were conducted in Winnfield with the Rev. B. C. Land, pastor
of the Winnfield Baptist Church in charge.  Interment was in the Winnfield
Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen was born in the year 1850 in Illinois where she was reared and
educated.  She was the widow of the late R. H. Allen.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Walter Price, Maneroy Allen, and Miss
Lilly Allen; three grandchildren, H. O. Baker of Rochelle, Mrs. Tom Plunkett,
and Mrs. Clarence Price of Atlanta.
