Mrs. Nicie Allen Is Claimed By Death March 29

Mrs. Nicie Allen of Sikes, died at her home Saturday, March 29, 1941,
following an illness of several years.  

Funeral services were conducted Sunday by the Rev. Jerry Fordham at the church
and interment was made in the Thompson Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen was 66 years, 3 months, and 23 days of age.

She leaves her husband, J. H. Allen; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Antley and
Miss Effie Allen; five grandchildren, Howard Temple, J. B. Antley, Lena Mae
Antley, Maurine Antley and J. W. Johnston, all of Sikes; two great
grandchildren, Geraldine and Siner Jean Temple of Sikes; two brothers, D. B.
Thompson and H. G. Thompson, of Sikes.
