Young D. Allen of Dry Prong Buried Near Jonesboro

Young D. Allen, 73, of Dry Prong, died Monday in an Alexandria hospital after
a long illness.

Services were held Tuesday at Dry Prong Baptist Church with the Rev. J. T.
Halley officiating.

Interment was in the Friendship Cemetery near Jonesboro by the Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Julia Allen, Dry Prong; a son, Wilburn Allen,
Nashville, Tenn.; two grandchildren and two grandchildren.
