T. E. Allen Ill A Week With Facial Erysipelas T. E. Allen of Dodson, about 60 years of age, died Wednesday morning at the Ruston sanitarium following a weeks illness with facial erysipelas. His wife, who is also in the Ruston Sanitarium suffering from facial erysipelas, which she contracted while waiting upon him, is in a serious condition. Mr. Allen has lived in and near the Dodson Community practically all of his life. He at one time farmed, but for the past several years has had a shoe repairing shop. He was first married to a Miss Jordan to which union one daughter was born. After the death of this wife he was married to Mrs. Bertha Burnum Kirkland, who survives him. Others surviving him are a daughter, Mrs. L. W. Jones of Ruston; two brothers, Will and Arch Allen of Jonesville; and three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Jordan, Pineville, Mrs. R. E. Waller and Mrs. F. D. Walker, Dodson. Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 11:00 o'clock at Zion Hill.
