Mrs. Alice Milam, Winn Native, Succumbs Dec. 9

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday in a Shreveport funeral home for
Mrs. Alice S. Milam, 96, longtime resident who died in her home at 6:30 a.m.
Friday, December 9, 1966, after a lengthy illness.

The Rev. E. L. Palmer, pastor of the Mildred Crowe Memorial Baptist Church,
officiated at the services, and burial was in Bolton-Teagle Cemetery at
Winnfield.

A native of Winnfield, Mrs. Milam had lived in Shreveport for 16 years.

Surviving are two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
