Thomas L. Allen, 59, Dies; Burial At Sanders Chapel

Thomas Lee Allen, 59, a lifelong resident of Calvin, passed away in a local
hospital at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 12.  His body will lie in state at his
residence until time for the funeral.

Mr. Allen was retired from public works.

Funeral services will be held at Sanders Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday, March __,
with interment in the church cemetery, under direction of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond Allen of Joyce, Jerry Allen of Winnfield;
one daughter, Mrs. Connie B. Freeman of Purise, Miss.; three brothers, Dudley,
Onus, and Loyd Allen, all of Winnfield; and one sister, Mrs. Robert McNaughton
of Calvin.
