Last Rites For H. G. Alexander, Former Resident

Last rites were conducted Friday, Feb. 18, in Jonesboro, for H. G. Alexander,
73, of Hodge, a former resident of Winn Parish.  He died at his home in Hodge
Thursday morning.

Burial was in the Jonesboro Cemetery with the Hodge pastor officiating.

A resident of Winn for 30 years, he moved to Hodge 14 years ago.

Survivors include four sons, J. B. Alexander of Winnfield; Cecil and Joe
Alexander of Hodge; and Tom Alexander of Minden; two daughters, Mrs. O. J.
Hays and Mrs. Claud Hays of Minden; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Myrick of
Winnfield, Mrs. Leslie Brown of Jonesboro, and Mrs. Ed Smelley of Liberty
Hill; two brothers, W. Y. Alexander of Winnfield and P. H. Alexander of
Liberty Hill.
