L. Dunkelbarger Mrs. Johanna Marie Ammann, 79, wife of Nick Ammann of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and mother of Mrs. D. L. Dunkelbarger of Winnfield, died at her home on Sunday morning, March 14, following an illness of two and a half years. Funeral services were held in Pine Bluff from the Trinity Lutheran Church on March 16, conducted by Rev. Wm. C. Bachert, pastor. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery, Pine Bluff. Mrs. Ammann, a native of Dresden, Germany, came to the United States with her parents at the age of twelve. Mr. and Mrs. Ammann had lived in Arkansas since 1900. Besides her husband she is survived by an only son, John N. Ammann of Kingsland, Ark.; five daughters, Miss Lena Ammann of Pine Bluff, Mrs. J. W. Taggart of Augusta, Ark., Mrs. J. W. Crouch of Kermit, Texas, Mrs. W. H. Cox, DeWitt, Ark., and Mrs. D. L. Dunkelbarger of Winnfield. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
