Marlene Anderson 
(May 24, 1934 - June 21, 2004) 


Marlene Anderson, 70, died Monday, June 21, 2004 in Dallas, TX after a 
lenghty illness. She was a native of Montgomery, and she lived the majority
of her adulthood in the Sulphur, La. area. She was a loving and dedicated
mother, mother-in-law and grandmother,and she will be deeply missed by all.
She was retired from Hercules, Inc. in Sulphur. Her church membership resides
at First Methodist Church of Montgomery, La. She is survived by her husband of
32 years, L.C. Anderson; her children and their spouses, Dewanna Crouch and husband Randy, Walt Dodson and wife Debbie, and John Dodson and wife Sharron; one sister,
Mary Pickrel; seven grandchildren, Lauren and husband Phil, Jared, Clint, Nathan,
Ryan, Staci and Dana; three nephews; one niece; and many other family members and
close friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Mattie Jean Jowers.
Visitation is 6-9 PM Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Southern Funeral Home in
Winnfield, La. Here funeral will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 24, 2004
at the First Methodist Church of Montgomery, La. with Rev. Helene Walker
officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Montgomery, La.
