Mrs. Owen Anders Succumbs Tues. Of Pneumonia

Mrs. Owen Anders, 24 years of age, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H.
Powell Tuesday night following an illness of a week with influenza and
pneumonia.  Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. B. C. Land and the
Rev. Alwin Stokes, Wednesday at the home, and burial was made in the Iatt
Cemetery near Verda, La.

Mrs. Anders, who before her marriage was Miss Ora Martin, was reared in
Atlanta and was a member of the Atlanta Baptist Church.  She moved to
Winnfield about eight years ago.

Surviving are her husband and three children, Murdock, 12, Iris Laverne, 8,
and Nelda Lynn, 15 months; and two sisters, Miss Hettie Martin and Mrs. R. V.
Hughen (Mable Martin) nurse in Dr. Mosley's clinic.
