W. B. Anders, 74, Brother of Winn Residents Dies

William Bennett Anders, 74, died at 5 a.m. Friday, April 23, after a long
illness, in a Jena hospital.  He was a resident of Jena.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Temple Baptist Church
with Rev. K. G. Brooks officiating.  Burial was in Richardson Cemetery, Jena.

Anders is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Anders; six sisters, Mrs. Zadie
Nolley and Mrs. Modie Slaughter, both of Jonesboro; Mrs. Nettie Taylor and
Mrs. Mattie Foster, both of Winnfield; Mrs. Annie Wainwright of Minden, and
Mrs. Ettie Wren of Orville, Calif.; and one brother, Mr. Owen Anders of
Winnfield.
