Former State Senator and Brother of Lon Anderson Dies in Crash

Ex-Senator James L. Anderson of Lottie was killed last Saturday night when the
automobile he was driving collided with a bus about thirty miles from Baton
Rouge.

He is a brother to Mr. Lon Anderson of Winnfield.

Ex-Senator Anderson was a pastor in Grant Parish when he was elected member of
the State House of Representatives.  Later he was elected to the State
Senate from this district.  He held various other offices with the state.
