Mrs. A. R. Machen Will Be Buried Here Friday A. M. Funeral services for Mrs. Anna R. Machen, 85, wife of the late Judge M. F. Machen who served this district from 1896 to 1906, will be held at the First Methodist Church, Friday morning at 10 oÕclock, with the pastor, Rev. H. B. Hysell officiating. Interment will follow in the Winnfield cemetery. Mrs. Machen died Wednesday in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruth Crump. The remains were brought here Thursday afternoon and will be carried to the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Prince Gilcrease, where they will remain until time for the funeral. Surviving are three daughter, Mrs. Eva Hart and Mrs. Roy Newsom of Monroe; and Mrs. Ruth Crump of Oklahoma City; and three sons, M. F. Machen, Jr., of Shreveport; Henry Machen of New Orleans and Tom Machen of Houston, Texas. (Note: Briley's Cemetery Directory has Anna R. McLean Machen, b. Jan. 10, 1858, d.
