E. Arrington, Brother of Local Resident, Dies Cecil Earl Arrington, 52, of 4103 Earl Drive in Alexandria, died at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 1968, in an Alexandria hospital. He was a supervisor at the V. A. Hospital. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the George M. Simmons Post No. 3, American Legion. He was past district commander of the 10th District Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also a member of Curtis T. Hines Masonic Lodge F. & A. M. He is survived by his wife, Opal Wiggins Arrington of Alexandria; a son, Wayne Dewitt Arrington of Alexandria; a daughter, Wanda Faye Arrington of Alexandria; three brothers, Bobby L. Arrington of Dry Prong, Leo Arrington of Alexandria, and Mayo Arrington of Winnfield; a sister, Mrs. Nora A. Beltz of Winnfield, and his mother, Mrs. Ethel Arrington of Georgetown. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Alexandria. Burial was in the Alexandria Memorial Gardens.
