Mrs. J. M. Austin To Be Buried At New Hope Friday

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock for Mrs. J. M.
Austin, of Route 3, Winnfield, at the New Hope Church, following a brief
service at the home.  Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery under the
direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro, La.

Mrs. Austin died Wednesday night at 12 o'clock after suffering a paralytic
stroke earlier this week.

She is survived by her husband, J. M. Austin, of Route 3, Winnfield, and the
following sons and daughters: Mrs. Robert Walker of Route 3, Winnfield; W. J.
Austin, J. E. Austin, J. C. Austin, Mrs. Randle McCain, Mrs. W. W. Shivers, J.
B. Austin, and Lonnie Austin, all of Winnfield; Mrs. Clyde Berry of Hudson,
Mrs. Edwin Gaar of Gaars Mill, Mrs. Wilbur of Jonesboro, and Mrs. W. L.
Deloney of Coudrant, La.; 39 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
