A. E. Autrey Dies; Interment In Georgetown

Arilss Eugene Autrey, 39, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 1969 in a
Shreveport hospital following a brief illness.  He was a native of Grant
Parish and a resident of Shreveport.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elaine Autrey of Shreveport; three sons, Gene
Autrey, Frank Autrey, and Jeff Autrey, of Shreveport; one daughter, Sharon
Autrey of Shreveport; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Autrey of Angola; three
brothers, Allen Autrey of Ft. Bragg, N. C., Leon Autrey of Houma, Michael
Autrey of San Francisco, and three sisters, Mrs. Faye Lawrence of Winnfield,
Mrs. Judith Martin of Angola, and Mrs. Martha Simmons of Guthrie, Miss.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Southern Funeral
Home of Winnfield.  Burial was in the Georgetown Cemetery with military
services.
