Father of Local Man Is Buried In Arkansas

Funeral services were held May 13, for D. R. Aydelott, 77, retired Rock Island
section foreman of Winnfield.  He was the father of Paul Aydelott of
Winnfield.

Funeral services were at McConnell Chapel in Booneville, Ark.  Mr. Aydelott
had been a resident of Winnfield for many years until his retirement from the
railroad.

Rev. W. B. Taylor was in charge of the services and burial was in the Antioch
Cemetery under direction of McConnell Funeral Home.

Survivors are his wife, three sons, A. E. Aydelott and A. H. Aydelott of
Booneville, Ark., and Paul Aydelott of Winnfield; two daughters, Miss Ruth
Aydelott, San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Fred Rogers of Pontiac, Mich.; one
brother, John Aydelott of Poteau, Okla.; and two sisters, Della and Mamie of
Poteau, Okla., and nine granchildren.
