Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Allbritton, 72, of Tullos, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Union Baptist Church with the Revs. Hollis Miles, E. D. Dearman, Coda Salter, and Laymon LaCour officiating. Burial was in New Union Cemetery. Mrs. Allbritton died Sunday, February 4, 1973 in a local hospital after a long illness. Survivors are her husband, Jessie B. Allbritton, Tullos; three sons, Leonard Allbritton, DeQuincy, Gilbert Allbritton, DeQuincy, and Earl Allbritton, U. S. Army in Germany; six daughters, Mrs. Edith Blackshear, Odessa, Texas; Mrs. Ethel Weaver, Lewisville, Ark.; Mrs. Nelda Allbritton, Tullos; Mrs. Betty Jo Sandifer, Jena; Mrs. Pearl McClure, Bossier City; two brothers, Chester Doyle of Starks, and Ernie Doyle, Tullos; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Wyatt, Vidor, Texas; Mrs. Erle Knapp, Mrs. Nettie Brinkley, and Mrs. Lula Williams, all of Starks; 37 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
