Funeral Rites For Mrs. Lillie Babcock Held

Mrs. Lillie Babcock, 75, of Olla, died early Thursday, May 22, 1969 at
Hardtner Medical Center of Urania following a brief illness.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m Saturday in the chapel of Riser and Son
Funeral Home of Columbia with the Rev. J. M. Henderson officiating.  Burial
was in Welcome Home Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Ainsworth of Winnfield, Mrs.
Alice Grod of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Clara Powell of Olla; five sons, Marvin
Babcock, Morris Babcock, and Alfred Babcock, all of Tullos, Robert Babcock
of Olla, and Alfred Babcock of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Varner
of Lubbock, Texas and Mrs. Belle Mabry of Columbia, La.; two brothers, Tom
Wilkes of Columbia and Ernest Wilkes of Buckeye, Ariz.; 27 grandchildren and
16 great grandchildren.
