Funeral Services For W. T. Babers Held On Tuesday

William T. Babers, 82, a retired resident of Goldonna, was buried Tuesday
at 10 a.m. in Turner Cemetery following funeral services at the Pine
Ridge Baptist Church.

Rev. R. B. Kitchingham conducted the services with burial under direction of
Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.  A native of Bienville Parish, Mr. Babers
died Monday following a brief illness at a Winnfield hospital.

Survivors include four sons, Polley Babers, W. P. Babers, and T. D. Babers,
all of Bossier City, and C. D. Babers of Saline; one sister, Mrs. Dell
McConathy of Quitman; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
