Brady Bagwell, Former Calvin Mayor, Dies

Funeral services for Brady Bagwell, 67, of Calvin, were held at 2 p.m.
Thursday in the Calvin Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilmer Jordan and the Rev.
John Roberie officiating.

A Winn Parish native, Mr. Bagwell had served one term as mayor for the Village
of Calvin and had also served as council member previous to being re-elected
in the election held March, 20, 1974.

Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Mr. Bagwell died at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 1974, in a local hospital.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Bagwell of Calvin; one son, Roy
Bagwell of Ruston; two daughters, Mrs. Joann Bellow of Eunice, and Mrs. Mary
Denler of Calvin; two brothers, Clarence Bagwell of Goldonna, and Pat Bagwell
of Calvin; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Lisenbia of Winnfield; eight grandchildren
and one great grandchild.
