Mrs. C. Bailey, 73, Buried At Sardis Sunday, March 9

Funeral services for Mrs. Cleavie Bailey, 73, of St. Maurice, who died Friday
after a long illness, were held Sunday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at the Sardis
Baptist Church with the Rev. E. B. Barton officiating.  Burial was in the
church cemetery.

Survivors are one son, Chris Bailey of St. Maurice; one stepson, Orvie Worsham
of Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. Matty Lou Lasyone of Montgomery, Mrs. Helen
Ellwood of Port Island, and Mrs. Lucy Howard of Denver, Colo.; five brothers,
Randal and Allen Brady, both of Atlanta, La., Lavell and Alon Brady of
Winnfield, and Roy Brady of Verda; three sisters, Mrs. Irene McLain and Mrs.
Tama Avant, both of Atlanta, La., and Mrs. Lois Avant of Verda.
