Bailey Here Wednesday Funeral services for Mrs. Chris Bailey of St. Maurice, who died in Winnfield Wednesday, were held from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Dawson, Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in the Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Death claimed Mrs. Bailey a day after the death of her newborn son, who died an hour after birth Monday night. Mrs. Bailey was before her marriage Miss Maria Dawson. She was born and reared in the Zion Community of near Winnfield. Surviving are her husband and three children, Maggie Dean, Christine, and George Weldon; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Dawson and two sisters, Mrs. Idell McConathy of Winnfield and Mrs. Velma Maxwell of Georgetown. No. 2 Mrs. Annie Bailey, Age 32, Dies Here Wednesday A.M. Mrs. Annie M. Bailey of St. Maurice, age 32, died at the home of her mother's, Mrs. R. F. Dawson at Winnfield Wednesday morning, and funeral services were held Thursday morning at Sardis Church, conducted by Rev. Alwin Stokes. Interment was in the Sardis Cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Bailey are her husband, Chris Bailey, three children, Christine Bailey, Maggie Dean Bailey, George W. Bailey, mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Dawson.
