Mrs. Baker

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Guin Hemphill Baker, 80, of Olla, were held at 
10 a.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church in Olla with the Rev. Aubrey 
Veuleman and the Rev. Rodrick Conerly officiating.

Burial was in Zion Cemetery at Georgetown under the direction of Hixson 
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Mrs. Baker died Monday, February 6, 1978 in Hardtner Medical Center at Urania 
after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Hemphill of Olla and Harold Hemphill of 
Milan, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Charlene Koczorowski of Davenport, Iowa; three 
brothers, George Buford Guin of Georgetown, Joseph Emery Guin of Kelly, and Ed 
Guin of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Kyle of Magnolia, Ark.; 10 
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
