Baker, 58, Dies in Quitman, Miss., Wednesday Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. today for Henry O. "Ottie" Baker, 58, who died at 11:50 p. m. Wednesday in Quitman, Miss. Rites will be conducted in the First Methodist Church by Rev. Fred S. Flurry, pastor, and interment will be in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Hixon Bros. funeral home. The deceased was a son of Mrs. W. R. Price, Winnfield, Route 3, and a brother of C. H. Price and Mrs. T. B. Plunkett of Winnfield, and was well known for many years in Winn Parish. In addition to those named above he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Adlee Plunkett Baker, two sons, Leo and M. J. Baker of Tullos, and two daughters, Mrs. Ira Riley and Mrs. G. G. Barry of Quitman, Miss. He was born in Mill Creek, Mo., and was a resident of Mt. Vernon, Ala. At the time of his death he had been visiting his daughters in Quitman. OBIT NO. 2 > From the May 27, 1948 Winn Parish Enterprise Funeral Of Henry O. Baker At Methodist Church Friday, 3 P. M. Funeral services for Henry O. Baker of Mt. Vernon, Ala., who died suddenly while visiting in Quitman, Miss., will be held Friday, May 28, at 3 p. m. at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Flurry officiating. Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Hixon. The remains are at the home of the deceased's sister, Mrs. T. B. Plunkett, Winnfield, until the funeral. Besides his wife, two sons and two daughters and his sister, Mr. Baker is survived by a brother, C. H. Price, Winnfield, and mother, Mrs. W. R. Price, of Route 3, Winnfield.
