Former Resident of Winnfield Dies in Pine Bluff Ark.
     William Egan Baker, 53, executive vice president and treasurer 
of the Arkansas Power and Light Company, died at his home in Pine Bluff,
Ark., November 21.
     Mr. Baker, a native of Mt. Lebanon, La., had been connected with
Harvey C. Couch, president of the power company for more than 30 years. 
At one time he worked for Couch in two lumber industries at Winnfield. 
While residing here, he married Miss Myrle Davis of Ruston, who was
employed in Winnfield.
