D. Bevill, Jr., Dies Monday Morris Ballance, of Baton Rouge, died suddenly at his home Monday morning at 8 o'clock. Funeral services were held in Baton Rouge Tuesday morning. Mr. Ballance was a brother of Mrs. R. D. Bevill, Jr., of Winnfield and had spent some time here with her several months ago under the care of Winnfield physicians. He suffered from heart trouble. He had visited here a number of times and had a large circle of friends here. Attending the funeral services from Winnfield were Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Bevill, Jr., Joe Bevill, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. LaCroix, Mrs. John T. Mosley, and Ben Trahan. Surviving the deceased are two sisters and one brother.
