Mother of Local Woman Dies In Harrisonburg

Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Alma Bankston, 83 year old mother of Mrs. E.
O. Sappington of Winnfield, were held Tuesday, March 9.  Mrs. Bankston died at
her home in Harrisonburg, La., Monday, March 8.

Interment was in the Manifest, Louisiana Cemetery Tuesday, March 9.

In addition to Mrs. Sappington, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Roy
Fisher of Jonesville; four sons, Lawrence M. Bankston, Owen J. Bankston, and
W. Marshall Bankston, all of Harrisonburg, and Fort E. Bankston of Algiers,
La.
