Barnes Held In Texas Mrs. Addie E. Barnes, who died suddenly at her home in Corsicana, Texas, November 4, 1945, was a native of Louisiana and is survived by a large family, many of whom are well known Winn Parish citizens. Mrs. Barnes was born June 29, 1872, and was a devoted member of the Primitive Baptist Church for many years. She was married to Charlie Barnes in 1888 and to this union was born twelve children, seven of whom are now living. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. A. M. Mathews of Corsicana, Texas; Mrs. F. A. Mixon of Ennis, Texas, and Mrs. H. L. Keener of Paso Robles, Calif.; four sons, H. M. Barnes of Dallas, Texas; Virgil Barnes of Paso Robles, Calif.; S. H. Barnes of Waxahachie, Texas; and J. E. Barnes of Fresno, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Rosie Rudd, Waxahachie, Texas; Mrs. Gordia Stinson, Jonesboro, La.; Mrs. W. A. Barrett, Exeter, Calif.; one brother, J. D. Puckitt, Jonesboro, La. Also surviving are three half sisters, Mrs. Dave Walker, Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. John Mixon, Dodson; Mrs. Loyd Sledge, Ringgold, and a host of other relatives and friends in this vicinity. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Bro. Fannin, and pallbearers were her nephews, the Rudd boys, Jesse, Lawrence, Lonnie, Esker, Arnold, Jual, and R. D.
