Mrs. Barton

Services for Mrs. Effie M. Barton, 78, of Winnfield were held at 3 p.m. Monday
in Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield with Rev. Richard Shreve officiating.

Burial was in Brown Cemetery near Winnfield.

Mrs. Barton died Sunday, June 22, 1980 in the local hospital after a long
illness.

Survivors include five sons, Herman Barton and M. L. Barton, both of
Winnfield; L. P. Barton of Hattiesburg, Miss., Russell Barton of Dodson, and
Jimmy R. Barton of Hebert; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Page of Baton Rouge and
Mrs. Evone Roberts of Jonesboro; a brother, Jack Meador of Hebert; 21
grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
