Mrs. R. D. Barron Dies; Rites At Zion Hill

Mrs. Margie Long Barron, 42, of Dodson, died at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, May 9,
1974 in a local hospital.  She was a secretary at the U. B. Carpenter Store
here.

She is survived by her husband, R. D. Barron, of Dodson; one son, Randall
Barron of Dodson; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Gilcrease of Winnfield; her
mother, Mrs. Flarce Sanders of Dodson; her stepfather, Flarce Sanders of
Dodson, and two granddaughters.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Zion Hill Baptist Church with
Rev. E. B. Barton officiating.  Burial was in Zion Hill Cemetery under
direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Pallbearers included C. R. Long, Jimmy Long, John D. Long, Clifford Long,
Gillis Long, Gerald Long, Carroll Long, Bill Long.
