Brother Of Local Residents Dies In Athens, Texas

A. M. Barnes of Athens, Texas passed away August 10, 1965 after a lengthy
illness.  He was a former resident of Winn Parish.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Athens.

Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife, four children, one brother, Dr. Hasson
Barnes, Ruston, one sister, Mrs. A. L. Smith, Sr., and a half brother, Dr. A.
W. Radescich of Winnfield.

Attending the funeral from Winnfield were Mrs. A. L. Smith, Sr., Judge Harwell
Allen, Dr. A. W. Radescich, and Leonard Smith of Austin, Texas.
