Iley M. Barnes, Brother of Local Residents, Dies

Mrs. A. L. Smith and Dr. A. W. Radescich were called to Crossett, Ark.,
Tuesday by the death of their brother, Iley M. Barnes, who passed away in a
hospital in El Dorado, Ark., following surgery Monday night.

He was 74 years old and leaves his widow; two sons, one daughter, and three
brothers: Dr. A. W. Radescich, Winnfield; Ashley Barnes, Athens, Tex.; Dr. J.
H. Barnes, Ruston; one sister, Mrs. A. L. Smith, Winnfield.

Funeral services were held Wednesday in Crossett with interment in Crossett
Cemetery.

Mrs. Harwell Allen accompanied Mrs. Smith and Dr. Radescich.
