Funeral Rites For W. L. Barnes Held Friday

Funeral rites for Willie Lee Barnes, 92, of Winnfield, were held at 10:30 a.m.
Friday, January 5, at Cypress Creek Baptist Church near Winnfield with burial
in the church cemetery.

Mr. Barnes died about 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 1968 in a local hospital
after a long illness.  He was a retired farmer.

He leaves one brother, Tom H. Barnes of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Emma
Sims of West Monroe, Mrs. Mae Babers of Saline, and Mrs. Minnie Green of
Dodson.

Nephews were pallbearers.
