Barridge Rites Held Tues. At Sanders Chapel

Funeral services for Ben F. Barridge, 84, of Calvin, were held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday in Sanders Chapel near Calvin with the Rev. Tom Curry officiating,
assisted by Rev. Jimmy Yocum.

Retired from public works, Mr. Barridge had resided in Winn Parish most of his
life and was a member of the Sanders Chapel Church.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Barridge died died at 5:15 a.m. Monday, August 20, 1973 in a local
hospital after a short illness.

Survivors are one son, William Barridge of Winnfield, three grandchildren, and
three great grandchildren.
