Thomas Barber, 8, Succumbs To Long Illness

Thomas David Barber, 8, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 1970, in a
hospital in Alexandria.  He was a resident of Pollock.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene W. Barber of Pollock; two
sisters, Grace S. Barber and Jena M. Barber, both of Pollock; his maternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Olsen of Willowick, Ohio and paternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Barber of Winnfield.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the United Pentecostal
Church of Bentley with Rev. Leland Briggs and Wayne D. Joiner officiating.
Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Cecil Couch, Joel Strange, Larry Jordan, and Edward Simmons.
