Mrs. A. S. Bass Succumbs Apr. 28 In Alexandria

Louette Wilson Bass, 83, of Alexandria, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 28, 1968
in an Alexandria nursing home.

She was the widow of the late A. S. Bass.  They were residents of Winnfield
for many years.

She is survived by two sons, J. Floyd "Sonny" Bass, Manager of Winnfield
Discount City, and Herman L. Bass, both residents of Jonesboro; two daughters,
Mrs. Wade H. Davis of Alexandria and Mrs. Lee Hudson of Santa Ana, Calif.; and
eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First Methodist Church
of Winnfield.  Burial was in the Old Winnfield Cemetery by Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home.
