Funeral Services For Mrs. H. B. Bates Held At Pine Ridge

Funeral services for Mrs. H. B. Bates, who died Sunday following a long
illness, were held Monday afternoon at Pine Ridge Cemetery.  Rites were
conducted by the Rev. Noah Fox.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. T. Babers and Mrs. T. L. Stevenson,
both of Goldonna, two granddaughters, Mrs. Roy Sheppard and Mrs. Edd Wheelis
of Shreveport, six grandsons, W. H. Carson, Joaquin, Texas, Dale Bates,
Calvin, Poley Babers, and T. D. Babers, Sulphur.
