Gladys G. Bates

Services for Gladys G. Bates of Winnfield were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in
Bethlehem Baptist Church with Revs. Leonard Free and Coda Salter officiating. 
Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery under direction of Southern.

Mrs. Bates, 69, died at noon Monday, April 23, 1984, in her home.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Bates of Winnfield; two sons, Joe Bates
of Dry Prong and Rickey Bates of Tullos; three sister, Willie Bartlett and
Johnnie Price, both of Calvin, and Joyce Carpenter of Anahauac, Texas; and
five grandchildren.
