Last Rites Held At Bethlehem For Norman Ray Bates

Norman Ray Bates, 4 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Bates of Calvin,
succumbed in a Shreveport hospital Sunday, January 14, as a result of
diphtheria.

Funeral services were conducted at the Bethlehem Church Monday afternoon. 
Surviving besides the parents are one brother and the paternal grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. George Bates of Bethlehem.
