Jesse Baxley, 57, Brother Of Local Residents, Dies

Jesse Baxley, 57, of Natchez, Miss., died in Jefferson Davis Hospital February
5, following a short illness.  He was a native of Colfax and was the
brother of Mrs. Arthur McMurry and of Earl Baxley of Winnfield.  He served 38
years with the Missouri-Pacific Railroad.

Last rites were conducted February 7 in Helena, Ark., with burial in Sunset
Cemetery.

Besides his brother and sister in Winnfield he leaves his wife, of Natchez;
one daughter of Vidalia; two stepdaughters of California; 10 grandchildren;
two other brothers, Carl Baxley of Colfax and Clyde Baxley of Pollock.
