W. H. Bayse, 82, Dies; Interment In Houston, Texas

William H. Basye, 82, of Montgomery, died Monday, February 8, 1971, at 2:30
p.m. in the Winnfield General Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lela Basye of Montgomery; a son, Miller Basye
of Orange, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. A. W. Woodward, Mrs. T. O. Mims, and
Mrs. W. P. Beck, all of Houston, Tex., 10 grandchildren and 12 great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Glenn Fogger and Rev. Kenneth Stanfill officiating.  Burial
was in Forest Park Cemetery in Houston, at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
