Mrs. Bazar, 83, Succumbs; Rites At Hargis

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday for Mrs. Clema W. Bazar, 83, of
Montgomery, at the Hargis Baptist Church with the Rev. Verne Fletcher
officiating.

Burial was in the Hargis Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Mrs. Bazar died Saturday, November 18, 1972, at Abbeville where she was
visiting a son.

She was a Jackson Parish native and a member of the Hargis Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, W. G. Bazar of Abbeville; two brothers, William
Walker of Monroe and Mitchell Walker of Lake Providence; one sister, Mrs. Iver
Dixon of Pineville; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
