Miss Bazar, 81, Dies After Long Illness

Mrs. Maria Z. Bazar, 81, of Montgomery, died at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 1974 in 
St. Frances Cabrini Hospital following a long illness.

Survivors are a brother, Ernest Bazar of Montgomery; four sisters, Mrs. Ida 
Williams of Alexandria, Mrs. Ophelia McIlwain of Jena, Miss Lucy Bazar and Miss 
Bessie Bazar of Montgomery.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Mars Hill Baptist Church, 
Verda, with Rev. Roy Moore, Rev. Tom Smith, and Rev. Grafton Shaw officiating. 
Burial was in the church cemetery.
